Mr. A. Misko


Mr. A. Misko is Assistant Headmaster for the upper school and teaches one literature elective, Dante’s Divine Comedy. After growing up in rural New Jersey, he moved to Texas to attend the University of Dallas, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2009 with a BA in English. After teaching literature and history at Tyburn Academy in Auburn, New York, and Scottsdale Preparatory Academy in Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. Misko moved to Irving, Texas, in 2013 to teach at Founders Classical Academy. In addition to Dante, he has also taught Western Civilization I, Western Civilization III, eighth grade Unites States history, and senior literature. He has served as a sponsor of the Journalism, Ultimate Frisbee, and strategic games clubs.
