Alex Misko


Mr. Misko serves as the assistant headmaster for the upper school and currently teaches Western Civilization III. After growing up in rural New Jersey, he moved to Texas to attend the University of Dallas, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2009 with a BA in English. After teaching literature and history in Auburn, New York, and Phoenix, Arizona, he moved to Irving, Texas, in 2013 to teach at Founders Classical Academy. In addition to Western Civilization III, he has taught Western Civilization I, Dante’s Divine Comedy, 8th grade U.S. history, and English IV. He has also sponsored Ultimate Frisbee games and a strategic board game club. He lives in Irving with his wife and three children.
