Mr. Simia began serving at Founders as a Student Services paraprofessional and currently serves as a Special Education teacher. He received a BA in History from the University of Dallas and a minor in Politics. During his sophomore year at the University of Dallas, Mr. Simia spent a semester studying in Rome. During the semester, Mr. Simia saw many of the historic sites throughout Europe and studied Greek and Roman architecture. The hands-on experience gave Mr. Simia a great appreciation for a liberal arts education. Originally from Oklahoma, Mr. Simia and his family moved to Green Bay, WI during his high school years. In Wisconsin, Mr. Simia developed a passion for the outdoors and often frequents Wisconsin for camping trips, fishing and hunting. Mr. Simia also has a passion for sports; while attending the University of Dallas, Mr. Simia played four years of rugby and served as a team officer. Other pastimes include reading historical and political works, discovering new films and music, and rooting for his Green Bay Packers.
