Mrs. Wheeler

Biography

Mrs. Wheeler teaches Debate, Theatre and Yearbook. She is a native Oklahoman, but attended West Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. There she performed extensively in college and professional productions and was also honored to perform for President Bush. She later moved back to Oklahoma to participate in a teacher education program while her husband earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Art. Before coming to Founders, she and her husband Kirk were very busy raising their 3 children who have attended Founders since the doors first opened. In addition to singing in church and watching political debates, Mrs. Wheeler loves musicals, old movies, crocheting, marksmanship, and spending as much time as possible with her family. She is thrilled to be teaching at Founders and frequently says that FCA is her favorite place to teach.
